Some of the basics, answered upfront.

Is ForgeEmber a real studio and shop?

Yes. ForgeEmber is a one-human studio based in the UK, running real print runs and shipping real parcels. There’s no big team or warehouse – just small-batch artwork being produced and posted with care.

What do you sell right now?

The focus is currently on A6 postcards and small-format prints, with occasional extras that fit the ForgeEmber universe. Over time, more collections and formats will be added.

Are the runs limited?

Yes, the aim is to keep runs intentionally limited, rather than endlessly reprinting. Some designs may come back in different forms later, but the goal is to respect early collectors and avoid flooding the world with throwaway prints.

Do you ship internationally?

International shipping is available to many locations, subject to carrier coverage and costs. Exact options and prices are shown at checkout. If something looks odd or your country isn’t listed, you can get in touch.

Can I request a custom piece or commission?

Possibly, on a very selective basis. The priority is always core collections, but if your idea feels aligned with the ForgeEmber world, it’s worth reaching out via the contact or collaboration pages.

How your order leaves the ember and arrives with you.

Processing times

Each order is processed in small batches. Typical processing time is 3–7 working days, depending on print run schedules and stock on hand.

Pre-orders or special drops may have clearly stated dispatch windows (for example, “second week of December”). Those details will be shown on the product page.

Delivery estimates

UK orders usually arrive within 2–5 working days after dispatch. International orders can take anywhere from 1–4 weeks, depending on location and carrier.

These are estimates, not guarantees – delays can occur due to customs, strikes, weather, or carrier issues.

Shipping methods & tracking

Standard mail is used for most small orders. For higher-value or larger shipments, tracked options may be used or offered at checkout.

If your order includes tracking, details will be emailed when it ships. If your order seems late, you can get in touch with your order number.

Customs & duties

For orders outside the UK, you may be responsible for customs fees, import duties, or local taxes. These are not included in ForgeEmber’s prices and are handled by your local postal or customs authority.

If something goes wrong with your order.

Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or not as described, please contact the studio within 14 days of receiving it, ideally with photos of the issue and your order number.

Wherever possible, a replacement or refund will be arranged after reviewing the situation.

Change of mind

Because ForgeEmber is a small studio producing limited runs, returns purely for “change of mind” are generally not guaranteed. That said, you can always reach out – if a fair solution exists, it will be explored.

How refunds are processed

If a refund is agreed, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method. Processing times can vary depending on your bank or card provider.

None of this affects any legal rights you may have under consumer law in your country.
